Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These terms apply to the use of this website and to the services provided by Horizon, a trading name of Joshua Aaron Cooper Northcott, an individual registered for business activity in Mexico (persona física con actividad empresarial, RFC NOJO850308FA2), with its address at Botánico, Conkal, Yucatán, C.P. 97345, México ("Horizon", "we", "us"). By using this website or engaging our services, you ("you", "the client") agree to these terms.

1. Our services

We provide AI consulting, AI automation and agent development, and digital product design and development, including minimum viable products (MVPs). The packages on our website (Launch, Build and Scale) describe typical engagements. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and price of each project are set out in a written proposal that you accept before work begins.

If anything in a proposal differs from these terms, the proposal takes priority for that project.

2. Prices and payment

3. Your responsibilities

To deliver on time, we rely on you to:

Delays in feedback, access or approvals may move the agreed timeline.

4. How we use AI

We use AI tools, such as Claude, to research, design, write code and test. Experienced people direct and review all work before it is delivered to you. AI-generated output can contain mistakes, so we check our work, and we ask you to review deliverables before relying on them for important decisions. We only share with AI providers the information needed to do the work, and we use providers whose terms do not allow them to use your business data to train their models.

5. Ownership of work

Once you have paid in full for a project, you own the deliverables created specifically for you under that project, including custom code, designs and content.

We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, templates, know-how and general methods, and of third-party and open-source components, which remain under their own licences. Where these form part of your deliverables, you receive a permanent licence to use them as part of your solution.

We will only mention you or show your work in our portfolio with your permission.

6. Confidentiality

We keep confidential any non-public information you share with us and only use it to provide our services. This duty continues after our work together ends. It does not apply to information that is public, that we already had, or that we are required by law to disclose. We are happy to sign a separate confidentiality agreement if you need one.

7. Warranty

We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. If a deliverable does not work as described in your proposal and you tell us within 30 days of delivery, we will fix it at no extra cost. This does not cover problems caused by changes made by others, third-party services, or use outside what was agreed.

Apart from this, our services are provided as described in your proposal, and we do not guarantee specific business results such as revenue or savings.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project (or, for monthly services, the fees paid in the three months before the claim). We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Mexican law.

11. Personal data

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the federal laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts in Mérida, Yucatán, and both parties waive any other jurisdiction that may apply to them because of their present or future address.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from its "last updated" date. Projects already under way continue under the terms in force when the proposal was accepted, unless both parties agree otherwise.
